Privacy Policy
Ticker Alpha (“we”, “us”) is a market-data and company-filings dashboard. This page explains what information the site uses, why, and how you can control it. It is written for a product that can be used signed out or with a Google account.
Information we process
- Account information. If you sign in with Google, we receive the profile details Google shares for OAuth (typically your name, email address, and profile picture) through our authentication provider, Supabase. We use that to keep you signed in and to sync a watchlist to your account.
- Watchlist data. Tickers you star can be stored in your browser’s local storage when you are signed out, or in our database when you are signed in so the list follows you across devices.
- Usage analytics. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, clicks, and similar session diagnostics). Clarity may set cookies or use similar technologies. When you are signed in we may pass a hashed custom id so sessions can be linked to an account in Clarity’s dashboard.
- Technical logs. Our hosting and API providers (for example Cloudflare Pages, Supabase, and our background worker) may process standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps to operate and secure the service.
Market and filing data
Prices, movers, and related market fields come from third-party market data providers (including Financial Modeling Prep). Company financials and filings shown on the company report come from public SEC filings. That content is about public companies, not about you as a visitor.
How we use information
- To run the product: authentication, watchlists, and page features.
- To improve the product with aggregated usage insights from Clarity.
- To keep the service reliable and secure.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your account email for marketing lists.
Cookies and local storage
Signed-in sessions are stored in the browser so you stay logged in. Anonymous watchlists use local storage on the device you are using. Clarity and Google sign-in may set their own cookies according to their policies.

- Microsoft Clarity — product analytics.
- Cloudflare — static hosting and delivery.
- Market-data and SEC data sources used to populate the dashboard.
Your choices
- You can use much of the site without signing in.
- You can clear local watchlist data by clearing site data in your browser.
- You can sign out from the account menu in the top bar.
- You can use browser controls or Microsoft’s tools to limit Clarity where available.

Children
Ticker Alpha is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you are using the service under the revised policy.
